Supergirl, “Bizarro”, Review!

We left last episode with a date between Kara and Adam and a news report of another Supergirl! Night, three months ago, Maxwell Lord is walking to Room 52. He touches the forehead of the patient (Hope Lauren) and injects her with a fluid that causes her to start choking and convulsing. Her eyes show all black. Lord takes a towel from the patient’s eyes. He calls her his “most perfect creation.” The woman is sitting up and says, “Yes, my lord.” CEO, Alex is scanning for the Supergirl. She says that if her sister’s DNA was harvested, it would still be an embryo. Catco, Kara walks up to Winn, and he says he’s interested in the new Supergirl. Cat Grant walks out of her elevator with her drink. A meeting, Cat wants headlines from her employees. Kara mutters, “Maybe it’s not Supergirl at all.” Cat wants to hear more and picks up the story with “Supergirl?” as a headline. Kara is suspicious that she is nice to him because of her date. Kara walks with Jimmy and Winn to their room. She wants Winn to check the hospitals for a patient with her measurements which Winn knows from making her costume. Kara blushes from her text from Adam. Jimmy pretends to think that Adam is nice guy. Sunset, the Supergirl patient is being shocked while Maxwell Lord walks up to her. She sees memories of Supergirl and wants to kill her.
Night, the date, Adam calls her “amazing” for her letter. He wants to do something for her like the letter. A news report of , Kara excuses herself, she flies as Supergirl to a trapped bus. She faces the other Supergirl who talks in simple sentences. They start to fight over the bus. The elevator car starts to fall, but Supergirl holds the cable. Supergirl tells Hank that the other Supergirl is her. Alex suggests using Kryptonite. Sunset, Cat walks in with her son, Kara rushes in and apologizes to Adam. He asks for another date. Cat is worried that she hasn’t kissed her son. Cat says that she has dubbed the other Supergirl is “Bizarro.” The Bizarro Supergirl first appeared Superman #140 (1960). Winn has found a woman transferred to Prometheus Genetics, as well as six other women. Lord wants to know why Bizarro didn’t kill Supergirl. Alex confronts Lord and he notes that he was trying to help the women. Alex wants to know how he got Supergirl’s DNA and he reveals that it was Red Tornado. He hints that he may know something about her relationship to Supergirl. Alex back at the DEO says that Lord admitted taking the women. Hank says that they don’t have enough evidence to arrest Lord. Alex tells Kara that Lord might know her identity, but wants her to go on the date. Jimmy pours a drink for Winn who tells him to tell Kara. Night, the date continues, Kara tells Adam that she lost her family to an “accident.” They kiss and Kara is flown away by Bizarro. Supergirl fires her heat vision with Bizarro using her cold vision!
Their stand off ends and Bizarro hits Kara with a punch, she uses her heat breath and Kara us her super breath. A DEO car drives up with Alex having the agents shoot her with Kryptonite darts. Bizarro falls, she starts to turn pale like a zombie, and flies away. Kara tells her sister that Lord knows she is Kara Danvers. Alex reports that Bizarro is a reverse of Supergirl and the Kryptonite made her stronger. Kara walks up to talk to Adam with Cat going to give them privacy. She worries about Adam being a target and he says goodbye to her. Bizarro at Room 52, he wants her to take revenge on her loved ones. Jimmy talks to Kara and she says she broke up with Adam. Alex walks into Lord’s office. DEO agents arrest him for keeping Bizarro a secret. He threatens to tell Kara is Supergirl. Jimmy faces Bizarro who screams at him! Lord is brought in to the DEO and he is taken to Cell 19. Alex tells Hank doesn’t care about procedures.
Day, Jimmy is in a warehouse, and told Bizarro that Supergirl loves him. Jimmy says that sometimes everyone feels ugly. He says, “I love her for who she is.” Bizarro unleashes her flame breath. There is a new dart that Alex is going to use on Bizarro. Supergirl and Bizaaro fight. The end up in a flying choke hold while Alex takes aim with a rifle. Blue Kryptonite dart hits Bizarro and she falls. At the DEO, Bizarro apologizes to Supergirl. Hank wants to put her under to save her. Supergirl holds her hand until she falls asleep. Supergirl confronts Lord in his cell. He mentions Eliza Danvers. Her eyes flash red until Alex walks in. Night, Cat is looking at proofs, when Kara goes to talk to her. Cat says they are alike, putting him in a lower priority, and says they should have a strictly business relationship. Kara joins Jimmy, he has to pick up Lucy, Kara walks away. Supergirl flies to her apartment, she gets a drink form her refrigerator, and senses something. On a table is some strange pod. Bizarro is interesting, but why is her powers reversed? How did Lord create her so fast? Unanswered questions. Three bars of Blue Kryptonite out of Five!
