Supergirl wakens Mon-El and has him get ready for work as Mike Matthews. including a pair of glasses which he will need at Catco. She introduces him to Eve Teschmacher and James Olsen. Kara shows Mike his desk to answer phones, funny. At the bar, Maggie tells Alex her girlfriend broke up with her. James is with Kara when there is a bank robbery, they have alien weaponry knocking down Supergirl. This makes me think of Intergang introduced in Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen #133 (1970) by Jack Kirby! James fights with one robber, but is no match and his father’s camera is broken. He will take it as as a symbol to fight crime as Camera Man! DEO, Supergirl recognizes the weapon shown by Winn’s profiles, the transmission of Cadmus again gives the alien warning. James has his reporters work on the story, he feels helpless, Eve has picked up the work from Mike. He likes candy. Lena drops by to tell Kara about a fund raiser and Mon-El talks his way in. Winn goes over the photon cannon, but Alex is distracted talking about Maggie. Winn is becoming less of a character working at the DEO. There is another attack, a weapon that hurtles a police car into the sky! Supergirl rescues the officer. The head of Cadmus talks to the gang leader, Chet Miner (Alexander Cendese), she doesn’t care about money, he wants to know about other weapons and she shows him a new one. Maggie talks with Alex who tries to ask her out, but she is thrown off that Alex says she’s straight. Kara hears Mon-El with Ms. Teschmacher and finds them together in a back room. Winn goes over the Cadmus transmission when James talks with him about vans that are not seen by the DEO as suspicious.

Night, the gang brings their weapons and blast the federal Reserve, James in ski mask and baseball bat, evacuates people from an explosion. He is wounded when Winn sees him, and explains he wants to do more than be a sidekick. James has a black belt and asks Winn for a costume, but he leaves. Kara tells her sister about Mon-El and adjusting to seventh grade as a Kryptonian. Alex tried to guide Kara, but ultimately let her do her own thing. Kara lets in Lena who asks for her favor, contact with Supergirl. Miner meets with the head of Cadmus and tells her that he wants Lena Luthor. She doesn’t want him to go after Luthor, maybe because she’s funded by her? Lena meets with Supergirl and wants her at the party for protection. Night, the party, Winn has a detector for the weapon which he tells Kara and covers for her changing into Supergirl and back. James is there. Kara stuffs her mouth and sees Mon-El in a suit. They go dancing. The detector goes off before the gang attacks. Miner takes a necklace from Lena. Supergirl blasts them with her heat vision. Winn finds that Lena is setting up a trap for them. Supergirl is down with James and Lena disables the weapons. Miner is taken away by Maggie, he tries to make a deal, and the Cadmus head kills them. Winn meets with James and agrees to make a suit. James has chosen a superhero name. Kara wakens Mon-El, he was fired and gives him a guidebook. Alex talks with Maggie at the bar, still not worried about her father at Cadmus. Supergirl meets with Lena, they are interrupted by a woman, her mother, Lillian Luthor, played by Brenda Strong! Three Bars of Kryptonite out of Five!
