Ahsoka’s Untold Tales!

Jedi Jondee here at Star Wars: Celebration Europe,

Ahsoka-Vs-Darth-Vader-Star-Wars-Rebels

The live stream returned to Andi with Ashley Eckstein and Dave Filoni. They just finished the Ahsoka panel. She introduced the “Ahsoka’s Untold Tales” with Pablo Hidalgo and Dave Filoni. The empty chair between them was “symbolic” Filoni joked before Ashley Eckstein was brought on with the Ahsoka design shirt also worn by Hidalgo. The shirt was designed by Filoni. Hidalgo joked that the A in the design was for “Afterlife”, which Eckstein said, “That’s terrible.” Hidalgo had a presentation of slides, starting with “Discovery.” Lucas told Filoni that Anakin had a Padawan. Filoni related a folk tale of how the village supported Ahsoka becoming a Jedi. He made a back story that a fair, female Jedi named La Trans was going to take Ahsoka, but she was really a bounty hunter. The race was turned into the Zygerrians. Plo Koon had the opposite look with a mask. Next was “Ahsoka’s Walkabout.” Filoni mentioned that Ahsoka in Rebels had a white lightsaber because she wasn’t a Jedi. This finishes with “Duel.” Filoni drew on the whiteboard in the Burbank office the duel between Ahsoka and Vader. He also drew scenes that he sent to Simon Kinberg to write the script. This ends with the title, “Ahsoka Lives?” His ten images of Ahsoka and Vader are made into trading cards by Topps. then, there was the Funko Pop! figure of the Ahsoka figure for Star Wars: Rebels available in the Fall. It has a Hot Topic label. There was a title, “One More Thing…”, layout animation was shown, a man fixing a speeder for Ahsoka. Facing aliens and fighting with them. Ahsoka will help him if she can stay for free and takes down the aliens. In the q&a, a mother brought a drawing that her daughter did to give to her. Eckstein had to sign at the Ahsoka Lives panel and at the store, but had to get a flight afterwards. Hidalgo noted that they had to inform the novelist working on the book following Ahsoka taking place after Clone Wars. He teased about Ahsoka’s fate that he didn’t want to be swayed by fan reaction, but in the following season of Rebels, “She might have something to do, maybe.”
